Twinge Health provides asynchronous telehealth services to users 18 years and older located in New York and Connecticut. Users complete a secure intake form, which is reviewed by a licensed medical provider. If medically appropriate, a compounded prescription pain cream may be issued and dispensed via our affiliated pharmacy (Friendly Pharmacy) or another pharmacy of your choosing.

We do not treat minors, emergencies, or controlled substance-related conditions.

2. Eligibility

To use Twinge Health, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Reside in New York or Connecticut
  • Consent to receive asynchronous telehealth services
  • Accurately complete all intake forms and provide truthful information

We reserve the right to deny services if false, misleading, or incomplete information is submitted.

3. No Medical Advice Without Evaluation

All medical decisions, including whether to prescribe treatment, are made solely at the discretion of a licensed medical provider based on their professional judgment.

4. Asynchronous Telehealth Process

Twinge Health operates under an asynchronous care model, which means:

  • There is no real-time video or phone interaction unless deemed necessary
  • Licensed providers review submissions within a reasonable time window
  • Decisions are made based on submitted intake forms and documentation

If the provider requires clarification or additional information, we may contact you via secure messaging or email.

5. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

A. Fees

  • Twinge Health charges a flat rate of $79 per telehealth visit, inclusive of evaluation, medicine, and shipping (if a prescription is issued).
  • Fees are collected upfront at the time of intake submission.

B. Refunds

  • If the provider declines to prescribe medication, a 100% refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days.
  • Refunds are not granted once a prescription has been issued or medication compounded.

6. Use of Services

You agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading medical information
  • Use the services for emergency or urgent medical needs
  • Interfere with the platform's normal functioning
  • Attempt unauthorized access to secure areas of the site
  • Copy, distribute, or modify content for commercial use without our permission

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension of services and possible legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, graphics, and functionality on the Twinge Health platform are the property of Twinge Health LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce or exploit any content without prior written consent.

8. Privacy & HIPAA Compliance

Your use of our services is governed by our:

11. Emergency Medical Disclaimer

Twinge Health does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden severe symptoms, or believe you are in crisis:

Our platform is not a substitute for in-person medical care in urgent situations.

12. Compounded Medication Disclaimer

If prescribed, compounded medications are:

  • Prepared by licensed pharmacies
  • Not evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • Intended based on your provider's medical judgment for your unique condition

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated Effective Date. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver

A. Arbitration Agreement
You agree to resolve any disputes with Twinge Health through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims or equitable relief actions.

B. No Class Actions
You agree that:

  • Disputes will be resolved individually
  • No class actions or mass arbitrations are permitted
  • You waive the right to participate as a class member or representative

C. Arbitration Procedure

  • Conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA)
  • Governed by the Consumer Arbitration Rules
  • Venue shall be in New York, NY

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform if we determine:

  • There is abuse or misuse of services
  • Terms have been violated
